How the QuickBooks Time Price Increase Calculator works

QuickBooks Time raised its per-employee price on July 1, 2026: $8 to $10 per employee per month, a 25% increase, with the larger tiers up 33–50%. The annual difference is the per-employee increase multiplied by everyone on the account, twelve times over — for a 25-person crew that is roughly $600 a year on top of what you already paid. No — it compares per-employee charges only, because that is the part that changed. If your plan carries a monthly base fee, add it to both the before and after columns; it doesn't affect the size of the increase.

Is ScribeLine a straight replacement for QuickBooks Time?

Not exactly, and it's worth being clear about it. QuickBooks Time is a time clock: employees punch in and out, and it can track location. ScribeLine has no punch clock and no GPS — the crew logs its own hours, expenses, photos, and notes against the job, and that record feeds the budget, the invoice, and payroll. If you need a clock for compliance reasons, we're the wrong tool. If what you actually needed was hours landing on the right job, we do that and the paperwork that follows it.

Why is ScribeLine's price not written into this page?

Because a hardcoded price goes stale the first time it changes. Every figure shown for ScribeLine is read live from our billing system when the page loads, so what you see is what you'd pay today. If our pricing service is unreachable the ScribeLine block simply doesn't render a number rather than showing you an old one.

What if my crew doesn't work every month?

Then you pay less. ScribeLine crew seats are billed only for months a person actually logs work — nobody logged a day in February, nobody is billed for February. The annual figure here assumes everyone works all twelve months, which is the most expensive case.
